WHY PEOPLE BELIEVE IN US

What Valuable Products are Derived from Hemp?

Hemp is undergoing a renaissance. Rather than industrial hemp or the hemp oil of the past, this explosive popularity is being driven by a world of new products that isolate and intensify everything the hemp plant has to offer. Significant investment and work went into producing more of hemp’s most valuable non-THC active ingredients, such as CBD and Delta-8. Part of its recent growth can be attributed to its broad appeal.

Some people love the earthy smell and taste of cannabis, even if they want something softer (and legal in their jurisdiction). Products that contain terpenes are designed to provide that familiar flavor. Terpenes are often used in juices, waxes, and other smokable/vape products.

Other customers prefer to avoid the smell altogether, and a growing list of products is being sold to appeal to them. Hemp products are now available as nearly scentless or artificially flavored creams, gummies, and drinks. Hemp products are catching on across the entire United States. If you intend to sell these products, here are some of the most important ones:

  • Delta 8
  • Delta 9
  • THCA
  • CBD

Delta-8 (short for delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol) is another naturally-occurring ingredient from the hemp plant. Unlike CBD, it is a psychoactive compound. Many users have reported that it has similar, though milder, effects compared to Delta-9 THC.

It is available in all of the following popular forms:

  • Delta-8 Pre-rolls (flower)
  • Delta-8 Vape cartridges
  • Delta-8 Gummies
  • Delta-8 Kief

Delta 9 is another name for THC, the compound marijuana is most known for. It may surprise you to learn that this ingredient is not fully illegal.

When most hemp products were legalized in the 2018 farm bill (see the next section for more information about this crucial law), certain concentrations of Delta-9 were allowed. These products simply include the permitted amount.

The following products are available:

  • Delta-9 Chocolates
  • Delta-9 Gummies
  • Delta-9 Lollipops

THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is the natural precursor to THC in cannabis. Derived from cannabolic acid, THCA offers similar wellness properties to THC, with a focus on promoting a full-body experience for ultimate relaxation. Customers have reported a unique and soothing experience.

THCA is where the THC cannabinoid is born from and this means that it has many of the same wellness properties of THC and a few of its own. THCA is known for providing a full body experience, encouraging you to your greatest relaxation point.

THCA has proven to be a popular and adaptable ingredient, we offer wholesale THCA products in all of the following forms:

  • THCA Flower
  • THCA Gummies
  • THCA Vapes

Cannabidiol (CBD) is an active ingredient found naturally in the hemp plant. Unlike THC, it is not known to have a psychoactive effect. One of the advantages of this compound for many of its fans is that it is THC-free.

However, many users have reported that they find it helpful for anxiety, depression, and light pain.

CBD has proven to be a popular and adaptable ingredient, we offer wholesale CBD products in all of the following forms:

  • CBD Hemp Flower
  • CBD Gummies
  • CBD Tinctures
  • CBD Salves/Topicals/Lotions
  • CBD Kief

CBD is also frequently sold with CBG, CBN, and other related cannabinoids to create more of a broad-spectrum effect.

Wholesale Hemp Products FAQs

It’s true that until recently, many cannabinoids were illegal. This changed in many states when the federal government passed the 2018 Farm Bill.

Section 12619 of this bill removes hemp and hemp-derived products from Schedule I of the controlled substances act. This meant that many non-THC cannabinoids that weren’t legal became legal as long as they were produced from hemp

The farm bill de-scheduled any cannabinoids derived from hemp, provided that the concentration did not include THC over the legal limit of 0.3%. As a result, there was no federal law that made these compounds illegal.

It is important to note that many of these compounds do not have legal status when produced from non-hemp plants. CBD and Delta-8 derived from high-THC marijuana plants are still considered Schedule I classified.

The 2018 Farm Bill explicitly preserved the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) authority over hemp products. Hemp products must meet any applicable FDA requirements and standards.

If you’re a CBD products distributor, this authority mostly affects growers and labs. It requires them to meet certain standards for growing hemp or producing formulations from hemp products.

The wholesale price depends on the product that you choose. Different cannabinoids require different levels of processing, and the price may also vary based on quality, popularity, and potential supply problems.

The global CBD market alone was worth $16B in 2022. Some teams forecast that this market will reach more than $22B in revenue by 2030.  CBD is already sharing shelf space with many other popular hemp products, such as Delta-8.

The total market value of hemp products is not well-studied, but it is far larger than just the numbers you’re seeing from CBD.

It is difficult to say which hemp product is most popular. The market is in a stage of innovation, and many of the most popular products are only a few years old.

There are also large differences between the recreational hemp product market (mostly served by Delta-8. HHC, and THC-O) and the wellness/pain relief market that mostly utilizes CBD.

To start a business selling CBD, you should first verify that you can legally sell hemp-derived products in your area. Some states have banned specific cannabinoids, and these bans may significantly impact the potential of any hemp business.

It is wise to speak to a lawyer before beginning your planning process.
